Woodstock Police have charged a 44-year-old of Woodstock and a 26-year-old of Stratford after a break and enter investigation on Rathbourne Avenue.
WOODSTOCK – Charges have been laid after police were called to investigate a break and enter at a home in Woodstock.
On Monday, April 1 at approximately 11:10 p.m., the owner of a residence on Rathbourne Avenue returned home from vacation to find two strangers in the house.
The home owner contacted 9-1-1 while the intruders gathered their possessions, told the home owner they recently bought the house, then fled on foot. At approximately 11:30 p.m., police located and arrested the suspects involved.
As a result of the investigation, the 44-year-old suspect, of Woodstock, and the 26-year-old suspect, of Stratford, ON, are each facing charges of break and enter a dwelling house – commit indictable offence and fail to comply with probation order.

· Report any suspicious people or activity around your neighbour’s home.
