Oxford OPP are investigating after $6,000 worth of cheese was stolen from the Village Cheese Mill.
SOUTH WEST OXFORD - The Oxford OPP are investigating after the Village Chesse Mill was broken into in South West Oxford on Plank Line.
Police say over $6,000 worth of cheese was stolen from the shop sometime between Monday night and Tuesday morning. Constable Ed Sanchuk is asking the public to be on the lookout for anyone trying to sell large quantities of cheese in the community.
"These individuals are going to be attempting to sell large amounts of cheese, they stole 40 pounds of curds, 5 wheels of gouda, a lot of different cheeses here, someone in the community will have information that will assist police in this investigation and I am asking them to please have the courage to come forward and hold these individuals accountable."
Sanchuk says they used force to get inside the building. They also stole cash, DVD's, Fudge, Meat sticks, Marilyn Monroe Stamps and Maple Syrup. Here is a complete list of all of the cheese that was taken.

1 - 4.54 kg Old Sharp

4 - Extra Old White 4.54 kg block
2 - Extra Old Col. 4.54 kg block
1 - Marble 4.54 kg block
1 - Mozzarella 4.54 kg block
1 - Dill and Garlic 5kg
4 - 5 year white cheddar 5kg
2 - 5 year col. cheddar 5 kg
1 - White 4yr cheddar 4.54 kg
4 - Caramelized Onion 2.2 kg
2 - Onion and Parsley 4.54 kg
2 - Sizzling Hot Jalapeno 5 kg
