Tillsonburg Chamber of Commerce names Jack Whitmore their Citizen of the Year
This year's Tillsonburg Chamber of Commerce Citizen of the year says he was pleasantly surprised by the announcement.
87 year old Jack Whitmore was awarded last week following several years of public service.
Whitmore is no stranger to the community having worked as a pharmacist and business owner as well as having sat on both Town and County Councils.
Whitmore has been involved in several volunteer organizations as well including the Tillsonburg Lions and has sat on the board for VON Oxford Sakura House amongst other volunteer opportunities.
