Ten commercial vehicles have been taken out of service after a recent blitz in Oxford County.
OXFORD COUNTY - The Oxford OPP joined forces with the Highway Safety Division, London Police, the Ministry of Transportation, and the Ministry of Finance for a commercial motor vehicle blitz.
According to a post on the OPP West Region X page, up to 44 inspections were conducted in Oxford yesterday. This resulted in 39 charges laid and 10 vehicles being taken out of service.
Police say both the driver and the company they work for are responsible for the safety of their fleet.
