With cold nighttime lows and wind chill factors, Southwestern Public Health has issued a cold weather alert.
OXFORD COUNTY - A cold weather alert has been issued for Oxford County by Southwestern Public Health.
Environment Canada is forecasting lows of minus 15 with wind chill factors of minus 20. During a cold weather alert, residents should take precautions to protect themselves from the cold to avoid complications such as frostbite and hypothermia.
The cold temperatures are expected to persist overnight and continue until tomorrow morning.
