28 commercial vehicles were taken off the road after a safety initiative in Woodstock.
WOODSTOCK - Woodstock Police teamed up with the OPP on Thursday for a Commercial Motor Vehicle Training initiative.
They were also joined by the Aylmer Police Service and Kitchener Waterloo Police Service. 63 Commercial vehicles were checked in the City of Woodstock. Police handed out 44 charges during the blitz and 28 vehicles were placed out of service.
Some of the charges were for exceeding weight, improper tires and insecure loads.
