You can grab composters, blue boxes, blue box lids and rain barrels at the Salford Landfill on Saturday

Oxford County is having a composter sale.

They will be selling composters, blue boxes, blue box lids and rain barrels at the Salford landfill this Saturday from 8 a.m. to 12 p.m. Waste Management Coordinator Pamela Antonio tells Heart FM why they offering this sale on the weekend.

"What we wanted to do though is provide individuals an opportunity to pick up these items on a Saturday, just to make it convenient for those who are not able to go to a municipal building during the work week from 8:30 am to 4:30 pm.

The items will be sold for cash only and only the exact change will be accepted.

The following items will be available for purchase:

- Traditional composters ($10)
- Green cone composters ($40)
- Large blue boxes ($5.50)
- Small blue boxes ($4.50)
- Blue box lids ($1.50)
- Rain barrels ($45)
