The construction project on Springbank Ave has finished ahead of schedule.
WOODSTOCK - A major construction project has wrapped up in Woodstock.
Oxford County says the stretch of Springbank Ave from Parkinson Road to Keyes Drive has officially reopened.
The project started back in July and has caused traffic headaches for drivers ever since, but crews were able to finish the work ahead of schedule.
You'll now be able to spot new pedestrian crosswalks along the north, south, and west portions of the Springbank and Parkinson intersection and a new right-turn lane for northbound traffic approaching it. There's also some new asphalt and crews re-aligned the ditch.
County officials will continue to monitor the intersection over the next few weeks and adjust the timing for the traffic lights if need be.
