Work continues on the Van Ave bridge. Crews will be moving to stage 2 in the coming days.
OXFORD COUNTY - The Van Ave Bridge construction will move into stage 2.
Stage 1 of the work is expected to be complete later this week, and crews will then move to the bridge's east side and begin work there. During the construction, there will still be road closures on Oxford Road 59 from Devonshire Ave to Tecumseh Street for traffic traveling southbound, and the detour routes will still be in place.
A single lane will remain open for northbound traffic, but delays will occur. Local traffic will only be allowed to travel on Tecumseh Street.
