Both the city and county want legal advice on the dispute over Oxford Garden's development charges. Oxford Garden's legal representative, Alan Patton gave a presentation to County Council on Wednesday on why his client should not be charged. He wouldn't comment to the media afterwards. But Warden McKay says they need to further analyze the situation. "Certainly our staff report laid out very clearly that there are grounds. But until you get until the legal realm, there are grounds for an argument. What we need to do is help facilitate a solution." The total charges are close to $500,000 between the city and county. Last week the city also deferred a decision to seek legal advice. (In Photo: City and County officials participate in the groungbreaking of the new Oxford Gardens expansion earlier this summer.)
