THAMESFORD - The Oxford OPP are hosting a free crime prevention seminar tonight at the Thamesford Library.
They will be going over several crime prevention tips and the importance of always locking your doors and never leaving valuables in plain site inside your vehicles. Here are some other tips to help you avoid becoming the victim of a vehicle theft.
- Always pocket your keys and never leave your vehicle unattended while it's running.
- If you have a garage, use it, and never leave your keys in plain site in the garage, hanging up or otherwise.
- Always park your vehicle in a well lit area.
- Never leave valuable objects in plain site, always try to put them in the trunk, or take them with you.
The Crime Prevention seminar is happening from 6-8 pm tonight, Tuesday October 8th inside the Thamesford Library.
