Stratford Police have brought in the OPP Cyber Operations Section to help investigate a Cyber Attack on the computer systems at the City.
STRATFORD - Stratford Police have launched a criminal investigation after a cyber attack on the City.
Police are investigating a breach of the computer system at the City and have called in the OPP Cyber Operations Section for help. They have assigned specially trained investigators with the technical and analytical expertise to support the investigation.
The police are working alongside external forensic IT experts, legal counsel including specialists in protection of privacy issues and City IT personnel. All appropriate investigative measures are being employed to identify and prosecute those accountable for this criminal activity.
