The real estate board sold 96 units last month with the average home going for $614,137.
OXFORD - It was a slow February for home sales in Oxford County.
The Woodstock Ingersoll Tillsonburg and Area Association of Realtors (WITAAR) sold 96 units last month, a decrease of 21.3 percent compared to February 2025. It's also 25.3 percent below the five year average and 28.4 percent below the 10 year average for the month.
The average home sold for $614,137, which is a decrease of 6.9 percent compared to the same time last year.
The real estate board added 214 new residential listings last month. President Derrek de Jonge says this is a decrease of 8.9 percent compared to last February, but it's also 0.1 percent above the five year average and 11.6 percent above the 10 year average.
"February delivered a modest life to sales, but overall activity is still well below what is typical for this time of year. New listings cooled from both last month and last year yet came in right on par with the five-year average for the month and above the longer-term norm."
WITAAR ended the month with 573 active residential listings. It has recorded 168 home sales so far in 2026, which is a decline of 18.8 percent compared to the first two months of last year.
