Volunteer, non-profit, and charitable organizations in Woodstock have until September 3rd to submit an application for the fall intake of the community grants program.
WOODSTOCK - The City of Woodstock is issuing a last call for community grant applications.
It will no longer be accepting applications for the fall intake of the program as of 4:30 p.m. on Tuesday September 3rd.
The money comes from the Gateway Casinos location here in Woodstock and a committee will decide how it's distributed once all of the applications are in.
The program is for local volunteer, non-profit, and charitable organizations in Woodstock, as well as local rec programs for youth. Individuals and teams who have achieved significant recognition can also apply for funding.
The City of Woodstock distributes community grants twice a year, once in the spring and once in the fall. You can find more information about the program, including a link to the application form, online here.
