WOODSTOCK - Time is running out for kids to enter the Woodstock Public Library's Summer Writing Contest!
Kids aged 8-12 can send in a poem or a short story, as long as it's no longer than four pages.
Young poets and storytellers have until the July 29th to submit their entries to the library for a chance at the prize. Winners can also have their work published to be available at the library (if they give permission).
The judge of the contest is Vikki VanSickle, author of the children's book Anonymouse and the 2018 Red Maple Award winner The Winnowing.
