A man from Central Elgin has died after a single vehicle crash on Elgin Road.
Police are now identifying a man who died in a crash yesterday morning.
Middlesex County OPP, Thames Centre Fire, and Middlesex London EMS responded to the single vehicle crash yesterday morning at 7:26 a.m.
They believe a black Chevrolet car was travelling northbound on Elgin Road when the car struck a tree on the east side of Elgin Road, south of Cromarty Drive.
The 58 year old driver was taken to hospital by ambulance. He is listed in fair condition this morning.
The 65 year old passenger was pronounced dead at the scene. He has now been identified as Dennis Wilson from Central Elgin.
The road was closed until 11:50 a.m. while police investigated.
