The dog, believed to be a Rottweiler or a similar breed, was being walked by a man on Thames Street Saturday morning when the alleged incident happened outside the FirstOntario Credit Union.
INGERSOLL - Southwestern Public Health is investigating a dog-biting incident that allegedly happened outside of FirstOntario Bank in Ingersoll.
Officials say the dog, believed to be a Rottweiler or a similar breed, was being walked by a man on Thames Street sometime between 8:30 a.m. and 9:00 a.m. on Saturday January 21st.
Officials want to make sure the dog is up to date on its rabies vaccines. Anyone with information should call 1-800-922-0096 and ask to speak with a Public Health Inspector on the SWPH Environmental Health Team.
