Public Health is looking for tracking down the owner of a dog
Oxford Public Health are trying to avoid giving an Ingersoll man a series of rabies vaccinations following a dog biting incident Monday.
According to officials, the alleged biting happened around 11am at Memorial Park near the corner of Canterbury St. and Thames St. South in Ingersoll.
The dog is described as large, black and yellow/gold in colour and appeared to be a German Shepherd-Labrador cross.
The dog was running at-large with no owner in sight.
Anyone with information is asked to call Public Health Inspector Mike Pape at Oxford County Public Health at 519-539-9800 ext. 3454.
