Public Health officials are looking for a dog owner after a dog biting incident at Burgess Park in Woodstock.
WOODSTOCK - Southwestern Public Health is looking for the owner of a medium sized dog after a dog biting incident at Standard Tube Burgess Park in Woodstock.
The victim was bit on Thursday morning around 10:30 a.m. The dog is a brown and black Dutch Shepherd and was being walked by a teenager named Tammy wearing a black top and pants with pink crocs.
Public Health just wants to make sure the dog is caught up to date on all of their shots, otherwise the victim will have to get an extensive round of rabies shots.

To keep your pets and family rabies-free:
- Make sure your pet vaccinations are up to date.
- Keep your pets indoors at night.
- Teach children to stay away from wild animals and strange dogs and cats.
- Supervise children around pets.
- Always ask permission from a pet owner before trying to pet an animal.
- Do not attempt to touch or feed wild animals.
