WOODSTOCK - Southwestern Public Health is investigating a dog biting incident at the off leash park on Henry Street, near Southside Park.
The incident happened when a dog owner and their chihuahua were attacked by a 70-80 pound dog, assumed to be a Collie or Shepard. When the owner stepped in to separate the dogs, they were bit by the larger dog.
This happened on Saturday. The Health Unit is looking to speak with the owner of the larger dog to make sure they are up to date on all of their shots, otherwise the owner of the chihuahua will have to get further treatment.
