Woodstock police had to chase down a driver on Monday who was driving with the wrong licence plate attached.
WOODSTOCK - Woodstock police had to chase down a driver on Monday who was driving with the wrong licence plate attached.
The driver did not stop for the police sirens, or a stop sign. Officers eventually tracked him down to a parking lot on Norwich Avenue and arrested the man as he was getting out of his vehicle.
The 33-year-old Woodstock man was charged with the following:
- Flight from Peace Officer
- Use Plate Not Authorized for Vehicle
- Use Validation not Furnished by Ministry
- Disobey Stop Sign – Fail to Stop
- Drive Motor Vehicle – No Licence
- Possession of Property Obtained by Crime Under $5000
- Operate a Motor Vehicle Without Insurance
- Fail to Surrender Permit for Motor Vehicle
