SOUTH-WEST OXFORD - Earth Day is normally held in April but because of the pandemic South-West Oxford Township has decided to hold theirs the end of September.
For the second year in a row residents of the Township will be able to purchase blue boxes with lids and rain barrels at half the normal price. Mayor David Mayberry says Council feels it promotes environmental care, recycling so they are willing to cover half the cost. Payment can be made in cash or cheque.
The first 50 people using the drive through service on Saturday, September 26th will receive a Colorado spruce seedling.
