An 18-year-old from Embro will be off the roads for a few days they were pulled over by the Elgin OPP on Highway 401.
CHATHAM-KENT - Someone from Embro has found themself in hot water after they were pulled over on Highway 401 in Chatham-Kent.
Elgin OPP officers stopped a vehicle for speeding in the westbound lanes at around 1:00 a.m. today. The driver had to take a roadside screening test and they registered an alert.
The 18-year-old has been charged with speeding 49-kilometres over the limit, in addition to being a young and novice driver with a blood alcohol concentration over zero.
Their licence has also been suspended for three days.
