The strong winds will continue this evening with gusts reaching 70-90 km/h.
Environment Canada has issued a special weather statement for much of Southwestern Ontario, including Oxford County.
They warn about the potential for strong wind gusts this afternoon and evening. It has been a windy day in Oxford County, with no signs of the winds subsiding until later tonight. Gusts could reach between 70-90 km/h over the next several hours.
This is caused by a Colorado low moving through Ontario right now.
