The open house will focus on the Settlement Area Boundary Expansion and Secondary Plan.
EAST ZORRA-TAVISTOCK - An open house is coming to East Zorra-Tavistock.
Residents are being invited to learn more about the Settlement Area Boundary Expansion and Secondary Plan. Residents will have the opportunity to get updates and talk with the project team. These meetings have been held as the Township and County try and figure out the best way to deal the forecasted population and employment growth.
Tavistock and Innerkip are the primary centres for accommodating growth, and a Settlement Area Boundary is the boundary that encompasses the limits of a settlement, such as Tavistock and Innerkip. The ongoing study has been reviewing the extent to which the currently Settlement Area Boundaries need to expand to accommodate the forecasted growth.
If you are interested in attending the Open House, which is tomorrow night, you can show up to the Township Administration Office between 6:00 p.m. and 8:00 p.m.
