Families are welcome to drop in for Family Literacy Day.
WOODSTOCK - The Woodstock Library is bringing families together for Family Literacy Day.
The event will be happening on January 26th featuring guests from all over the community.
Manager of Public Services, Heather Mathers says there will be a lot of guests and activities to see.
"In the afternoon we have a ventriloquist coming, so that should be a lot of fun. We also have dancers from Dance In Style, from downtown, they'll be joining us. We'll be giving away lots of prizes and we'll be also having lots of games and crafts in the children's department throughout the day as well."
Mathers adds there will also be a variety of guests too.
"Over the course of the day we're going to be having all sorts of really great fun, free drop-in programming. We have community readers coming in the morning, including some guests from Heart FM. We also have the fire department coming as well."
The Woodstock Library will be hosting the event for the second year in a row and it is free to attend.
