A weekend ATV ride with friends proved fatal for a man from Perth County.
MITCHELL - One man is dead after a tragic ATV crash on a farm property in Perth County.
Police were called to the farm on Perth Line 19 early Saturday evening. A group of adults had been riding their ATV's on the property throughout the afternoon. It was during the end of the day when one of the group members found their friends ATV lying on it's side and the lone rider lying next to it unconscious.
The man was immediately taken tot he hospital where he was pronounced deceased.
He has been identified as 51 year old Robert McDougall from Perth East.
Members of the West Region OPP Technical Traffic Collision Investigation Team is helping to assist with the investigation and a post mortem is being done today to determine the cause of death.
