Current COVID-19 public health measures for travelers arriving into Canada will be extended until at least September 30th.
The federal government says all existing border restrictions to enter Canada will remain in place until at least September 30th.
This means foreign travelers coming to Canada will need to show proof of vaccinations.
As well, unvaccinated Canadians or permanent residents returning home will need to provide a molecular COVID-19 test before entering the country, and quarantine for two weeks upon arrival.
All travelers also still need to upload their vaccination details on the ArriveCan app.
As well, the pause of mandatory random testing of fully vaccinated travelers will continue at airports until mid-July.
