Oxford OPP wrapped the Festive RIDE program on January 1st. The results of the program have now been released.
OXFORD COUNTY - The Festive RIDE program has ended in Oxford County.
There were a total of 246 checkpoints set up around the County between November 16th, 2023 and January 1st, 2024.
Officers handed out 26 impaired driving related charges, along with three roadside license suspensions in that timeframe.
Even with the program over, Oxford OPP are reminding drivers they will are still out there getting impaired drivers off the roads.
