The Long Point Region Conservation Authority has terminated a flood warning for the Lake Erie shoreline.
A flood outlook will remain in place as water levels are expected to remain near record highs over the coming months. This will increase the risk of flooding on windy days. During the storm on Monday, Lake Erie flood levels reached an elevation in the Long Point/Port Dover area of 175.43 metres and 175.76 metres in Port Colborne.
The possibility of flooding will remain in place until further notice when strong lakeshore surge events happen.
