London's Mayor is expected to step down, after the RCMP have laid 3 criminal charges against Joe Fontana. Fontana was accused last month of using federal government cheques to pay for his son's wedding reception at the London Marconi Club in 2005. At the time, Fontana was Federal Labour Minister and a London MP. The charges include fraud, breach of trust by a public official, and uttering forged documents. He has a court date set for January 8th. A news conference is set for 1PM tomorrow, where Fontana is expected to step aside while he faces the charges. Click here to see the RCMP's news release.
