He wants to profile soccer and societal development in Africa. A former Woodstock resident has started a project to help build the community atmosphere over in Africa. Matthew Yeoman says it can be achieved through the game of soccer. The project's called Soccer and Societal Development in Africa. He aims to profile different charitable organizations that use soccer as a tool for community development. "Instead of helping one of them and experiencing what they do, I decided to go and try to experience as many as I can by going and telling their story," said Yeoman. He will be conducting interviews with as many people as possible who are directly involved in these types of projects. He hopes to fly over to Africa by November 1st.
