Freezing rain expected to start after midnight tonight, which could make for a messy morning commute and then we have the potential for thunderstorms on Wednesday.
Environment Canada has issued a freezing rain warning and a special weather statement for most of Southwestern Ontario, including Oxford County.
They warn about the potential for freezing rain and significant rain on Wednesday.
Freezing rain expected to start after midnight tonight, which could make for a messy morning commute. Freezing rain is expected to turn into rain by Wednesday afternoon. Some areas could get hit with 10 to 25 mm of the wet stuff and their is the potential for thunderstorms.
The partially frozen ground may have a reduced ability to absorb this rainfall and localized flooding in low-lying areas may be possible.
