Youth United will be handing out $1,000 grants to three youth projects and initiatives in Oxford County.

"Basically we're a board that assembled to hopefully give some grants to youth within the community hoping to start an initiative or a project to instill a positive change in
They will be awarding grants that are worth $1,000 each.
Friesen says Youth United will be accepting applications for projects that are youth run until March 10th.
"The project needs to be run by youth - which we define as between the ages of 12 and 24 - however the project does not to be for youth. It can be for whatever age group they see has an issue and something they want to address."
