OPP are hunting those responsible for stealing four guns from a Tillsonburg residence.
Unknown thieves made off with four guns, ammunition and a laptop computer in a break and enter in Tillsonburg, the OPP says.
Two handguns, a rifle and a shotgun were nabbed from the second floor apartment of a home on Fourth Street sometime between late Sunday night and early Monday morning.
In a news release, police detailed the types of firearms the burglars lifted.
- Norinco 1911 – 45 calibre handgun with two 7 round magazines
- Colt 1911 – 22 calibre handgun with 10 round magazine
- Smith & Wesson M&P – 223 calibre rifle
- Hatsan Escort Marine – 12 gauge shotgun
Along with the guns, police say the thiefs took 200 rounds of .223 calibre ammunition and 55 rounds of .45 calibre ammo.
Police ask anyone with information to contact the OPP at 1 888 310-1122. To leave an anonymous tip, call Crime Stoppers at 1 800 222 8477 (TIPS). Informants may be eligible to receive a cash reward of up to $2,000.
