Federal Conservative Party members have until April 19th put their name forward to join the race. They also have to pay a $200,000 entry fee, on top of a $100,000 deposit in order to make sure they follow the rules. They will get their deposit back once a new party leader is elected September 10th.
All membership applications must be submitted by June 3rd and the ballots will be sent to party members in late July or early August.
