WOODSTOCK - Oxford County MPP Ernie Hardeman announced over $8 million in funding to help build and repair local infrastructure in Oxford.
Hardeman says this money will help put shovels in the ground on critical infrastructure projects that support economic recovery, growth and job creation.
“This funding is key to providing stability and predictability for the municipalities in Oxford so they can repair, upgrade and modernize their critical infrastructure. I’m pleased that our government is committed to helping municipalities maintain the important infrastructure that people rely on.”
In Oxford, the 2022 Ontario Community Infrastructure Fund allocations are as follows:
- County of Oxford - $5,044,292
- City of Woodstock - $1,241,366
- Town of Ingersoll - $627,712
- Town of Tillsonburg - $458,678
- Township of Blandford-Blenheim - $355,350
- Township of East Zorra-Tavistock - $213,444
- Township of Norwich - $299,327
- Township of South-West Oxford - $232,082
- Township of Zorra - $229,887
