Southern Ontario is in for a sizzling week. Environment Canada has issued humidex warnings covering much of the province, from Windsor in the south to as far north as Sault Ste. Marie and North Bay, including Oxford County. In Woodstock, the daytime high temperature is expected to hit 33 C Monday through Wednesday. Also, expect high humidex values to reach 40 to 42 on Monday and continuing to peak above 40 most days this week until Friday. A cooling station has been set up at Goff Hall in Woodstock and will run from 9-9. Public Health says call your local municipality to see if any cooling stations are set up in your area.
