UPDATE - There is more information on the active investigation in Woodstock.
Police said around 1:20 this afternoon, they responded to Vansittart Ave and Lakeview Drive for a report of a suspicious package.
The area has been contained and secured, and the Waterloo Police Service has been called to help with the investigation.
Police are still asking the public to stay away from the area, and want to thank them for their cooperation during this time.
