Woodstock Police and the OPP are reminding motorists to slow down and drive to the conditions.
Already first responders have been called to several collisions in the region. The roads are expected to get worse as the snow continues to fall.
Constable Ed Sanchuk says there is no secret when it comes to driving in the snow, you just need to slow down and drive to the conditions.
"We have got snow falling and with the snow we are seeing several collisions right now and responding to several collisions, so we are asking people if you see snow, go slow, adjust your driving conditions and make sure you slow down and give yourself enough time."
No major injuries have been reported thus far.
The OPP is reminding motorists to slow down and leave extra space between vehicles to adjust to reduced braking ability on icy, snowy roads. Driving defensively and responsibly during the winter months will ensure you and your loved ones will reach your destination safely.
Police are also reminding everyone to give snow plow operators plenty of space to do their job and homeowners are asked to not blow snow onto the roadways when they cleaning up their driveways tomorrow.
