The Tim Hortons locations in Woodstock and Ingersoll raised over $65,200 during the first-ever Holiday Smile Cookie campaign last month.
WOODSTOCK/INGERSOLL - That's $32,602.12 for Big Brothers Big Sisters of Oxford County.
The results are in, and the Tim Hortons locations in Woodstock and Ingersoll were able to raise $65,204.24 during the first Holiday Smile Cookie campaign last month.
Big Brothers Big Sisters is walking away with half of the proceeds for it's youth mentorship programs, while the other half will be going to the Tim Hortons Foundation to support Tim Camps across the country.
Kristen Ralph, the Executive Director of BBBS Oxford, says this funding is an incredible gift for youth in Oxford County.
“We continue to see unprecedented numbers of requests for program and support, and these dollars will help us work to meet the rising need. Oxford County never ceases to amaze us with their support of local programs and initiatives. Thank you to everyone who bought a cookie, who helped us decorate, and the incredible owners and Tim Hortons staff who worked tirelessly to make this a success.”
The national Holiday Smile Cookie campaign featuring the sugar cookie raised over $9.8-million total.
