A family is asking the people of Oxford to remember their little girl with Random Acts of Kindness
A local mother is encouraging the public to perform a random act of kindness on the second anniversary of her daughter's death.
On April 11th 2015 Brooklynne Atkinson passed away from Invasive Group A Streptococcus. She died unexpectedly five days after she experienced flu like symptoms.
Instead of mourning her loss her family believes Brooklynne would have wanted people to spread love and positivity on Tuesday. Her mother Jaden Million tells Heart FM about some of the simple gestures people can do.
"Helping someone pack their bags at the grocery store and take it out to their car, buying the next person in line a coffee, or just giving a stranger a compliment or a smile."
Million says the event received a lot of support last year.
"My Facebook was blown up with posts to the event page on Facebook, on my Facebook wall, in my messenger about stories people told me about what they did that day. There was so much generosity that people were doing in the name of Brooklynne and people I didn't even know, which was amazing."
