Southwestern Public Health has a few tips if you want to ring in the New Year with friends and family this weekend.
SWPH - The holiday season is coming to an end and lots of people are missing their loved ones.
If you want to get together with them, Southwestern Public Health says you should consider an outdoor activity. You could go on a nature walk or play a fun game of street hockey. If you're not feeling well, you should stay home.
If you would rather stay indoors, you can ring in the New Year with friends over a Zoom call or you can play a virtual board game with them through the free Board Game Arena website.
Here in Ontario, outdoor gatherings are currently limited to 25 people and indoor gatherings have a 10 person limit. Whether you're gathering indoors or outdoors, Southwestern Public Health officials recommend wearing a mask if you are spending time with someone who does not live in your household.
