The Human Remains discovered in Ayr earlier this month, were actually left behind when an old cemetery was moved in 1924.
AYR - Waterloo Regional Police say no foul play suspected after human remains were discovered at a construction site in Ayr.
The remains were discovered on September 10th, when crews were digging on Stanley Street. It turns out the area was once a cemetery from 1843 to 1924. The marked burials were moved to the Ayr cemetery in 1924, however this one must have been missed.
The investigation is over and no foul play is suspected. A forensic anthropologist and the Ministry of Consumer Service assisted with the investigation.
