The MTO is closing the on and off ramps for the Highway 19 exit in Ingersoll, both north and south starting today.
INGERSOLL - Expect delays going through Ingersoll on the 401 for the next couple of months.
The MTO Is closing the on and off ramps for the Highway 19 exit, both north and south starting today. The Bridge Replacement contract will last until August 31st.
Demolition of the current bridge will take place over the weekend on June 3rd. Traffic from the 401 will be detoured that weekend onto the of ramps and and then returned to the 401.
The MTO will be erecting the new supermodules sometime in mid July. All of the this work is expected to cause some backlog on the 401 and at the other Ingersoll exits during rush hour.
Motorists are being asked to plan accordingly and give yourself some extra time to arrive at your destination.
