A 38-year-old was charged with impaired driving on Nellis Street early Sunday morning.
WOODSTOCK - A Woodstonian has been charged in their hometown.
On Sunday, Woodstock Police responded to reports at 12:35 a.m. of a possible impaired driver on Nellis Street near West Ave. The reports said the vehicle was all over the road, almost hitting another vehicle and driving up onto the grass.
Police found the vehicle running in a parking lot with the driver passed out behind the wheel.
A 38-year-old is now facing charges of operation while impaired by alcohol and drugs, along with failure or refusal to comply with a demand. They are also facing a seven day vehicle impound and 90-day licence suspension.
Woodstock Police are sending out a thank you to the alert driver who called in their concerns.
