A 25-year-old Woodstock resident is facing impaired operation charges among other penalties after being found 3.5 times over the legal limit.
WOODSTOCK - A Woodstock resident is in hot water.
This past Monday at 4:45 p.m., Woodstock Police located a vehicle on Dundas Street east of Oxford Road 4 after reports of a suspected impaired driver. The traffic stop was conducted, and it was determined the driver was impaired by alcohol and was 3.5 times over the legal limit.
As a result, the 25-year-old driver is facing a charge of operation while impaired by alcohol and drugs, a charge of operation while impaired with a blood alcohol concentration of 80 plus, along with a 90-day licence suspension and a 7-day vehicle impound.
