NORWICH - Oxford OPP has laid charges after stopping an impaired driver.
Yesterday at 4 a.m., officers observed a suspected impaired driver on Coal Line in Norwich. After speaking with the driver, they saw signs of impairment. After more testing at the detachment, a 21-year-old Burgessville man is facing charges of dangerous operation, operation while impaired, operation while impaired with a blood alcohol concentration of 80 plus, driving while under suspension, and operating a motor vehicle without insurance.
He will appear in Woodstock Court on October 8th.
