A couple of impaired drivers were arrested in Oxford County over the weekend in Tillsonburg and South-West Oxford.
SOUTH-WEST OXFORD - Oxford OPP arrested a 34 year with impaired driving on Saturday afternoon.
Officers were responding to calls of an erratic driver on the 401 in South-West Oxford. Police received numerous complaints about the vehicle. They eventually located the vehicle and conducted a traffic stop. It became apparent to police, that the driver had consumed alcohol and was immediately placed under arrest.
As a result of the investigation, the 34 year old was was charged with the following offences:
- Operation While Impaired
- Operation While Impaired - Blood Alcohol Concentration (80 plus)
- Driving Motor Vehicle With Liquor Readily Available
- Novice Driver - B.A.C. Above Zero
- Operate a Motor Vehicle Without Insurance
- Drive Motor Vehicle, No Validation on Plate
The accused is scheduled to appear before the Ontario Court of Justice in London at a later date.

TILLSONBURG - A 24 year old from Langton has been charged with impaired driving after getting pulled over in Tillsonburg.
Police say the stopped the man on Saturday morning around 2:00 am on Broadway Street.
An Approved Screening Device test was administered to the driver which resulted in a fail. The driver was taken into custody and transported to the OPP detachment for further testing.
He was cahrged with impaired driving.
The accused is scheduled to appear before the Ontario Court of Justice in Woodstock at a later date.
