The first crash was in South-West Oxford and the second one was in Norwich Township.
NORWICH/SWOX - The Oxford OPP busted two impaired drivers in two separate incidents, only one hour apart.
They both happened Friday night, but the first one was in South-West Oxford. Officers responded to a crash on Mount Elgin Road at 5:00 p.m. and found out that a vehicle hit a hydro pole. Only minor injuries were reported.
A 78-year-old from South-West Oxford was charged with operation while impaired, operation while impaired with a blood alcohol concentration over 80 and dangerous operation as a result.
The next incident happened on Mall Road in Norwich Township. Officers responded to another crash at 6:00 p.m. and thankfully no one was hurt.
A 51-year-old from Tillsonburg was charged with operation while impaired and operation while impaired with a blood alcohol concentration over 80 in that case.
The Oxford OPP would like to remind everyone that you shouldn't consume any amount of alcohol if you're planning to get behind the wheel of a vehicle.
